  • 8th grade Crusaders playing at Ford Field this weekend for Detroit CYO championship. Varsity will follow it up!! Let’s go!!!

  • Wazzup Chris Gary andddd my guy frank haha…, anyway what’s your guys op on airport can they make the playoffs even if they lose on Friday?

  • Who has the ability too stop SMCC they played some good D3 and D5 teams and still couldn’t get tested like they sucked the air out of flat rock there secondary is pretty good because the d line gives the linebackers a chance too read pass quickly. I dont see them being stopped in the playoffs by any team.

        • SMCC has to get past Whiteford in the first round more than likely. I would start there Falcon fans. My goodness are you vain

          • "If TO's did not happen Riverview would have won." TO's DID happen. That is football. That is apart of the game. They happened, you lost. get over it. It's week 9 and teams are suiting up for the playoffs. CC forced TO's and won the game. That is how the game of football works, and how it will always work.

          • Well. Mr. Vanity himself speaking, if I may. We don’t even know what the districts look like yet. So it’s fair to talk about whomever. But once selection Sunday happens, yes, time to focus on who is on your plate. SMCC has done that so far to the tune of 8-0.

      • Hudson is gonna be tough! They’re big up front and not slow. I do think SMCC takes care of business but this would by no means be an easy game.

        • Antonio
In my opinion Riverview and Flat Rock has better O-line.
Both those teams have D2 O-line commits. And those D2 commits could easily end up on D1 teams. Multiple high level O-lineman on both those teams. Incredibly well coached and aggressive kids who move very well.
Huron and Airport also should be proud of their O-line.

      • I agree 100%. Hudson definitely has a chance at beating SMCC. I don’t think it’s an obvious win on either side. My thought is if SMCC plays to their ability they will win. Any slip ups i.e turnovers, stupid undisciplined penalties or sloppy play/lost focus Hudson could pull off the win.
Over the 9 game schedule SMCC has had many more tests. Meaning a tougher schedule. Just winning on the road at Riverview was huge.

        • I recall reading on this here blog that Ida and SMCC tied in their scrimmage and that SMCC gave up 3 TDs. Seems to be more than the big ol mighty Huron league could muster up against those dirty birds on Elm

          • Funny. You’re bringing up a scrimmage. I believe everyone on here understands that is a hilarious comparison. I don’t think the Ida or SMCC coaches would put any credibility in that comparison.

          • I agree, Ida would beat Riverview if Riverview gave up two KR Td’s and fumbled three times, one at their own 12. A half a dozen other teams on here would beat Riverview in a game like that.

          • You scored three td's on Riverview, one from 12 yards out off a fumble, Riverview fumbled three times and still rushed for 350 yards on your defense. Subtract the kick offs and you have a one score game after being spotted three turnovers. Yeah, you won the game, but you got pretty lucky getting them at that moment playing a banged up team that just lost their best player and had everything on earth go your way.

          • 350 yards? Cant just throw out fake stats my man.

Yes, get rid of the 3 lost fumbles and 2 KO returns and Riverview may have won.

SMCC was +6 vs View and FR in terms of takeaways. Winning football.

          • Go over the schedule
It’s not an insult to Hudson in any way. SMCC has a much more challenging schedule.

Just the one comparison is SMCC beat Riverview by I think 23 points and Hudson beat Ida by 8. Also Hudson lost to a D8 school while SMCC played all schools larger then it self (D3-D6) schools
