The Summerfield Bulldogs suffered a heartbreaking 30-27 loss to the Decatur Raiders. Despite a strong offensive performance, the Bulldogs couldn’t secure the win.
Quarterback Trace Secor led the charge, throwing two touchdown passes to Tyler Dafoe and Brenden Myshock, and rushing for a score himself. Mitchcell Gomulinski added a 25-yard touchdown run and a crucial two-point conversion.
The Bulldogs’ offense showed promise, with Gomulinski rushing for 62 yards and Secor passing for 177 yards. However, turnovers and missed opportunities ultimately cost them the game.
Defensively, Gomulinski led the team with 9 tackles, while Secor and Dafoe each intercepted a pass. Despite their efforts, the Raiders’ offense proved too strong.
The Bulldogs will look to regroup and bounce back from this tough loss in their next matchup as they will host 1-1 Whitmore Lake
