SMCC Falcons Soar to 36-8 Victory Over Huron

The St. Mary Catholic Central Falcons dominated the Huron Chiefs 36-8, showcasing their potent offense and stifling defense.

Quarterback Ian Foster led the charge, throwing two touchdowns to Joel Treece and Cole Reinhardt. Lukas Linzell added a 19-yard rushing TD, while Drew Harris and Brady Hines contributed with rushing touchdowns of their own.

Foster finished with 87 yards through the air and 55 yards on the ground while Hines rushed for 62 yards and Harris 59 yards. Huron QB Cash Moczydlowski threw for 190 yards.

The Falcons’ defense was equally impressive, holding the Chiefs to just 8 points. Griffen Worden, Andrew Beggs, and Anthony Caladino led the team in tackles, while Thomas Raymond recorded a sack.

With the win, the SMCC Falcons improve their record to 2-0 and will play @ 0-2 Grosse Ile next week. Huron drops to 0-2 and will host 1-1 Milan next week.
