Clinton Red Wolves Beat Dundee Vikings 38-16

The Clinton Red Wolves stormed out of the gates, scoring on their first three possessions to take control of the game against the Dundee Vikings. Despite a spirited second-quarter comeback from the Vikings, Clinton’s potent ground game proved too much to handle, securing a 38-16 victory.

Clinton’s opening drive set the tone, with Clifford Jones scoring from two yards out and Cade Brighton converting the two-point attempt for an 8-0 lead. The Red Wolves continued to roll, with fullback Bryce Randolph capping an 80-yard drive with a one-yard touchdown run, followed by Andy Fair’s successful two-point conversion.

Dundee fought back in the second quarter, scoring 16 points to narrow the deficit to 24-16 at halftime. Ryan Zanger connected with Quinton Lephew for a 20-yard touchdown, and Joey Brink added the two-point conversion. Zanger later bulled in from two yards out to cap an 80-yard drive.

However, Clinton regained momentum in the third quarter, scoring on their first two possessions. Jake Felts scored from three yards out, and Andy Fair added a 20-yard touchdown run to seal the victory.

The Red Wolves’ ground game was unstoppable, accumulating nearly 350 yards rushing. Bryce Randolph led the charge with 154 yards on 19 carries, while Clifford Jones and Andy Fair added 68 and 62 yards, respectively.

For Dundee, Joey Brink rushed for 88 yards on 17 carries, and Ryan Zanger completed 4 of 11 passes for 73 yards. Defensively, Quinton Lephew recorded 13 tackles, and Joey Brink added 10.
