The Hope and Concern Series continues with a trip to Whiteford.
Biggest Reason for Hope: Familiar Name at QB Having Full Control. Sophomore QB Tre Eitniear entered his freshman season with high expectations, given the success that his two older brothers had in Bobcat uniforms. Though he had to share time with Ryin Ruddy, Eitniear still performed well, as he threw for over 1000 yards and recorded 15 touchdown passes. He will look to put up better numbers this season.
Biggest Reason for Concern: New Faces on Both Sides. There will be a lot of new faces on both sides of the ball for the Bobcats, especially on the offensive side. The top four rushers all graduated, as well as record-setting receiver Kolby Masserant. The defense loses the top three tacklers, but returns junior Mason DeBarr, who was second on the team in tackles for loss and sacks. The question of who will be the next man up will have to be answered before the season begins.
