Next up in our series is the Airport Jets, fresh off a 10-2 season that saw them fall in the regional to eventual state champion, Harper Woods.
Biggest Reason for Hope: In most cases, you win up front in football. The Jets return Issac Kemp, Tristan Philbeck, and Jack Buck on the offensive and defensive lines. Kemp is a difference-maker on the offensive line and will be one of the best linemen in the Huron League and FNV coverage area.
Reason for Concern: The Jets graduated an outstanding class that included FNV Co Overall Player of the Year Jack Mills along with Matthew Foor, Cooper Nye, Colin Nowak, Brett Moore, Nolan Zajac and Jacob Hanning. Every school graduates players on a regular basis, but this group of 2023 seniors are some of the best football players ever to wear the blue and gold of Airport.
