Staying in the Huron League, let us travel to Milan and take a quick look at the Big Reds.
Biggest Reason for Hope: The Big Reds were the victims of multiple injuries last season and played a few games with just 16 healthy players. This enabled them to get some young players some much-needed experience. This season (2023), will feature the return of William Gaskell. “Down Hill Bill” missed all but three games last season. In 2021, the 6-2, 205 lb RB ran for over 600 yards and ran for 11 TD’s while leading the Big Reds in tackles with 134.
Biggest Reason for Concern: ” The Schedule”The Big Reds went 3-6 last season and just 1-6 in the Huron League while missing the playoffs for the first time since 2014. The Huron League is a literal meat grinder, but the first 4 games are manageable. The Big Reds need to start 3-1 or better or it could be a tough year.

I think with Gaskell back that the Big Reds are gonna be dangerous. Now whether we’ll make a push in the League or not is yet to be seen.
