Let’s cruise on over to Gibraltar Carlson to discuss the Marauder’s “Hopes and Concerns”.
Biggest Reason for Hope: Rarely would you pin your biggest hope on a sophomore, especially at a solid program like Carlson, but Izaiah Wright is a game changer. The speedster was the second option at RB last season behind All-FNV performer Omari Carter, but still managed to rush for 547 yards and 8 TD’s. Look for him to have a breakout season and lead the Marauders to another excellent season.
Biggest Reason for Concern: The loss of 6-4, 250 lb Ben Przytula will have an impact on both sides of the ball. The athletic behemoth that was All-FNV last season simply cannot be replaced with just one player. With that said, Carlson is a good enough program with good players that they should be able to address his absence by committee.
