Each year Friday Night Victors choose a Player of the Year for offense and defense along with an overall Player of the Year. We also have our All Blog teams. Those will all be coming out this week. As always, let’s celebrate those chosen and considered for all of the 2022 awards.
Flat Rock’s Graham Junge has been named Friday Night Victor’s 2022 Offensive Player of the Year. after leading the Rams to two playoff victories and a spot in the Regional (loss to Country Day). The Rams finished the season 8-4 and recorded the most victories in a season for Flat Rock since the 1976 State Championship season (11-0).
The 6-0, 175 lb sophomore QB threw for a Monroe County record 2,644 yards. The heady signal caller rarely took a sack (4) while completing 222 of 343 passes (65%). Junge threw for 28 TD’s while scoring 3 on the ground and 1 receiving.
Coach Brandon Reaume’s Thoughts: Graham led our team to the first district title in school history and helped our team score the most points ever in a season. He broke the Monroe County record for most passing yards in a season. He holds every single season passing record there is at Flat Rock.
Others considered for the award were: Jacob Shank Riverview, Shea Ruddy Whiteford, Omari Carter Carlson, Jake Iott Whiteford, Trey Bruggeman Bedford and Gavin Moczydlowski Huron

Flat Rock is in Wayne County, weird lol
Part of Flat Rock school district is in Monroe County. Milan, Carlson and Huron have parts of their district in Monroe County as well.
Congratulations Graham! He is a five tool athlete!
(Not your typical 5 tool athlete)
1) Humble 2) Team Player 3) Coachable
4) Smart 5) Tough.
Obviously, he has God given ability and is only gonna get better at his craft.
Thank you FNV for recognizing GJ!
