Week 4 Power Rankings

Here are the Friday Night Victors Michigan High School football power rankings for the teams that we cover. There was some movement and Erie Mason cracks the top 10.

  1. Riverview (3-0), The Pirates looked very good against Huron and appear poised to have another great season.
  2. Whiteford (3-0), that wasn’t a very warm welcome to the woods that the Bobcats gave Detroit Loyola.
  3. Airport (3-0), the Jets bet SMCC for the first time since 2011.
  4. Carlson (3-0), The Marauders exercised some demons by crushing Allen Park.
  5. Bedford (2-1), the Kicking Mules were simply beat by a better team (Dexter) in week 3.
  6. Monroe (2-1), the Trojans win, but have a tough road the next 4 weeks.
  7. Grosse Ile (3-0), the Red Devils are no joke. Big game on the island this week.
  8. Dundee (3-0), I will repeat; the Vikings remain unbeaten and are making a believer out of this FNV guy.
  9. Flat Rock (2-1), Rams offense putting up some big numbers.
  10. Erie Mason (3-0), Eagles get first real test of the season when they travel to Summerfield this week.

    • Troll I hope you're right but I wanna be cautiously optimistic when it comes to Airport. They played their most complete game so far this season against SMCC, hopefully they keep it going this week.

      • May have had the best resultant score so far, and the defensive unit looked better. Didn’t really take great care of the ball though and put it on the turf more than they’d have liked. Must protect that rock.

  • I really like the fellas from gi,first off,the defense can win a game and that offense just started clicking in the win over Milan and The devils are looking good.I don’t know what it is maybe it’s the new uniforms they got but they are churning the wheels in the right direction and they def have a chance to take the Huron league with a big win this week vs airport

    • It's an even year. You can bet that they will be good in most even years, as sure as the sun rises in the east and sets in the west.

  • It’s a shame to have Grosse ile only at 7,first off they are 3-0 for the first time since 2018 and they were 2-7 last year and they have pretty much every starter back and healthy, and not to mention this offense is loaded with Frazcek in the back field and Swick and Proctor split out wide and Pizzo covering the slot,Also QB Travis Symons is looking a lot better and more poise in the pocket and is delivering darts through the middle of the field like it’s nothing. Not to mention the Offensive line aka (Dawgs)are very much improved from last year and and able to keep the pressure away from QB.

    • 7 is good! You don’t want to be to high in the rankings, then everyone will be gunning for you. One game at a time. Airport will be the toughest challenge yet this year. Also, you need to be careful what you post on here. You don’t want to give to much info.
