  • I have to go with Gary on this one. Even though how much I hate SMCC, they are going to crash the Jets.

  • People forget that Milan is without one of the top players in the Huron League in Connor Dessellier. Two way starter WR/Corner injured during the scrimmage. If Milan can get the 6'5 junior receiver back in a few weeks, it will give them a much needed weapon on the outside to pair with Jett Issacs.

    Milan Fan

    • Not true… kids are allowed to test out today with the new rule that the Monroe county health department passed today. SMCC will have every player quarantined back unless they test positive. I except another huge win for the falcons as usual. Saying airport will even come close to winning this game is absolute garbage.

      • CC’s backups wiped the floor with Grosse Ile 41-6. Even if they have 20 guys dressed I’m confident they’d still beat airport

        • I can assure you that the SMCC coaching staff is not sending that message to the kids. Knowing Coach Kipf and the guys on his staff, the only message they are sending is one of getting better every day. This is also a rivalry game and I am sure it will be a much closer game than expected.

      • You ever think your favorite team could win because another teams best player is out? Doesn’t mean you’re happy that someone is injured or sick you dodo bird

      • I’m not excited at all. I feel bad for any kids that have to sit out whether it’s Covid quarantine or injury. I know exactly how they feel because I missed most of my senior year due to injuries. That was a long time ago but these kids have a whole other monster they have to deal with besides injuries. I do find it hard to believe that SMCC could be the only football team in the area missing players due to quarantine.

  • Did you guys really refer to Livonia Clarenceville who went 0-9 in 2018 as Farmington Hills Harrison South?

    • Clarenceville is 4 miles directly south of Harrison on Middlebelt Road. Many kids in that area used to go to Harrison. Now Clarenceville is an option for them and many are taking it.

  • I guess that wasn’t that surprising of De LaSalle/Rouge. I didn’t realize De LaSalle was ranked #1 in D2.

  • I might be wrong on this but didn’t De LaSalle beat River Rouge? I was surprised you guys didn’t mention that. Gary, I’ll be at the SMCC/Airport game. Come find me if you can.

  • I love the opening segment. Helps highlight teams I may not follow. Can’t believe it’s week 3 already!
