I like reading the list and everyone has different opinions and it's early. A few thoughts. In d-2. Some of those westside teams ranked behind bedford would put beatdowns on them. If Bedford beats Saline, I could be wrong.
Being the biggest team in the conference isn't always a good thing. Riverview is legit, but Rouge, Harper Woods, OLSM etc. they'll be lucky to get a district. And I hope they do. But looks like even if they got past Allen Park (which they would) and somehow got past rouge (possible) OLSM is the real deal and will be not only bigger in the trenches, but has D-1 skill kids. That's not even mentioning Dewitt, which I'm sure them losing to Portland is prob the best thing that happened to them after running the table last year.
D-5 is the weakest division and GRCC will win out unless Portland can have something to say about it. Have a feeling the Dewitt game might be an anomaly.
D-7 is brutal for SMCC. I think they would have a good chance to win it all if they were in d-6. Pewamo is the real deal and JLC is bigger, faster, and better than they were last year. I'd be surprised if they don't run through d-7. Hope SMCC can get past them.
Whoever comes out of the d-8 district/regional between Whiteford, Hudson, Reading and Addison I believe will walk away with the title.
You’re forgetting a team that made it to regionals in division 4 last year🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯😡😡😡😡😡
you guys are 1-2 and have lost the last two games by 80 points. They didn’t miss anything. Will be lucky to go anything above 3-6
You mean the team that has gotten blown out in the last two games?
Gary, please stop approving/ posting “Grosse Ile Dad” posts. He is embarrassing the rest of the GI dads out here with his comments. And he shouldn’t be comparing to last years team. There are only 3 returning starters out of 22 (offense and defense).
Anyone who reads the blog stopped paying attention to that guy when he made the comment about half the teams in the HL playing out of state games.
Typically, unless they defame a player or are vulgar in any way, we let it go through.
I realize his posts are silly and make no sense but this is a free forum.
We also realize he is not a GI Dad.
They were D5, which is why no response.
What are the chances the top 4 teams in division 8 end up in the same district?
solid chance.
all depends on who makes the playoffs of the other teams in the area.
A district of a mixture of 4 of these 5 teams seems logical.
Whiteford, Addison, Hudson, Sand Creek, Reading.
Gary
DeWitt would put a running clock on Riverview
Just like they did to Portland?
Riverview is winning the Huron League unless John Bods and the boys start that revenge tour.
This should make me feel better about AP and Rouge likely winding up in the View's district...but it doesn't.

I thought Country Day lost their opener?
They beat Garden City by a 46 🍔 in the opener.
