Due to the Covid-19 Pandemic, Friday Night Victors will be honoring those 2020 graduating seniors who played for one of the FNV teams that played Michigan High School Football during the 2019 football season.
Bedford’s Luke Warnke dedicated his time to both athletics and academics. For football, he received the Academic All-State award and Scholar-Athlete Award, while also breaking two school records, including the longest Touchdown Pass Reception (91 yards).
For swim, he received the Academic All-State Award and SEC Sportsmanship Award, while also leading the team as their senior captain and qualifying for both the state meet and MISCAs. He was able to break into the Top 10 fastest swims on multiple school records lists. Sadly, the senior track season was canceled, but not before he qualified for the regional meet his junior year.
Luke plans on attending Central Michigan University in the fall to major in Accounting. He received the Multicultural Advancement Scholarship, Frederick and Rosemary Kreft Endowed Scholarship, Maroon and Gold Merit Scholarship, and various local scholarships. He participated in a number of groups/clubs, including National Honor Society, Business Professional of America (state qualifier), Student Council, Youth Advisory Council, and more.
