Due to the Covid-19 Pandemic, Friday Night Victors will be honoring those 2020 graduating seniors who played for one of the FNV teams that played Michigan High School Football during the 2019 football season.
Brendan Damiani – Huron High School Class of 2020
Brendan has been playing football since he was 8 years old with his twin brother Braden. He started with the Huron River Yellow Jackets, then Huron Junior Football program then onto middle school and high school. He has played Tight End and Defensive End and had the greatest time his senior year, he is happiest when he is playing on the football field.
His football accomplishments this year include:1st Team All Huron League, 2019 Detroit News All – West Special Mention, 1st Team All Region Monroe News,1st Team News Herald, Selected for Monroe County All Star North.
He was a 4 year varsity wrestler. His senior year was filled with pride as a captain helping the team qualify for state and he was also an individual state qualifier. He also enjoyed his time with the track team during his high school career.
He is looking forward to continuing his academic and athletic career at Concordia University Ann Arbor to study Education and play football as a Cardinal. He earned football and honors scholarships for Concordia including a Huron Athletic Booster Club Scholarship.
He won’t forget all his coaches and teammates who helped him get to the next level and showed him how wonderful it is to be a part of a football family.
