2018 was a year of building and improving for the future. Mason did just that as they outperformed their 2017 points per game and points per game against. The win column didn’t change but there was a noticeable step forward. Head Coach Rob Beaudrie, in his 3rd year with the Eagles, will be once again be leading the charge. His assistants will be: Derek Bowman, Ken Hall, Mike Frank, Steve Bowers, Rob Currie, Brian Hoppert.

Coaches’ Thoughts: Looking for a very competitive team this season with almost our entire team back from the last 2 years. Returning 9 starters on offense and defense is huge plus in our system, but the biggest thing is now our team is the same age as the rest of the league, but with more experience than anyone. LCAA is a tough league, every game is hard, but I am looking at a huge leap from the last few years. We got better last year than the year before and this being the third year, the kids are are finally bought in and we have become a very tight group.
FNV Outlook: I’ve gone back and forth as to where I think the Eagles will fit in the LCAA this year. This is a very hard team to handicap. There is talent and there is size. The youth is not as youthful anymore BUT the LCAA can be relentless. It’s hard to overcome the difficult seasons of the past. A 10 win decade is a place no program wants to be in. However, EAGLE NATION is hungry and I believe the tide gets turned. This should be a fun year on Mason Eagle Drive. They find themselves competing each week and will be on the winning side of things more often than not.
Gary’s Pick: 5-4

Wow Gary 1-8 to 5-4, Noah B is good, but who do you predict those 3 league wins over? I know you watch your share of football so I am just curious..
I agree with Frank & Chris's predictions, I think the Eagles start off 2-0 and steal a LCAA win from Onsted or Columbia Central
It's my opinion that Mason can beat anyone on their schedule minus maybe a couple teams.
Physicality has to improve. I think it will.
