• Mason alum- the issue isn't the kids or the size of the school. It's the coaches. Kids want to be part of a team. No kid wants to work all week to be treated like they don't matter on Friday. Winning is a team effort it takes 11 players not one. Mason will be competitive again it's just going to take a couple more years...

• @1:31, you must be new around here; under 20 years of age; or just plain silly. I’m not saying the Falcons couldn’t lose any of their last games because they respect all opponents, but to think their season is over due to injury? You better do a little research on the history of the Falcons and understand the heart of the Falcons. A wounded animal is the most dangerous! They will not quit!

• This is the week where the wheels finally fall off The SMCC Bus, will get pounded tonight and will get beat against Airport next week, 4-3 going in against jefferson..unfortunately a season with state championship hopes is derailed to key parts of the team getting injured ..not this year Falcons!!!

  No Mason does not practice defense, they sit around and play catch all day. Are you an idiot?!? They have 19 kids on their team and not a big program to begin with, but to try and win with an already young team playing entire games is almost impossible anywhere, let alone the LCAA. Look at their schedule, they competed vs Summerfield, beat Deerfield, game was closer than score shows vs Hudson and now will go 1-8 again. They are alot better this year, but come on dude you are clueless to even make comments about things you have no idea about. Give them a break they need players to compete, especially on line, need more than 5 lineman on varsity. Yet again John, your just another arm chair guy spewing his blog stuff like he is on the Skip and Shannon show. Also, your picks above will go .500 today Swami!

  Can you guys please give a very thorough analysis as to why you pick who you pick? I want to hear the backlash from everybody on the blog. Frank is rarely ever on here and he gets heat for not picking Ida. Everyone calm down. It’s only high school football. Let’s not take the fun out of the blog.

• Frank I believe you prediction is a bit nearsighted and you should look at the bigger picture. I understand the reasoning for you to pick Hudson. You are correct when you stated that Ida has not won at Hudson for many years. I personally hate their football field, it is like playing in the dark with just a nightlight.
  BUT even though there are some injured players. There are some great second string players ready to step it up! I feel that Ida's second string is just as good if not better than Hudson's 1 string. Hudson is not the caliber team that they once were.

  I believe I have a pretty good record on the season. I did pick CC to lose vs Milan. I'm 5-0 on CC games this year.

• Yeah I can see GI beating CC but they will not win all of the next 3 games. JV season is over.
