Week 8
Blog seems kinda boring lately so I'm gonna spice it up and say Airport will be #3 next power rankings.
When does Carlson play Wyandotte? That should be a good one.
I imagine teams like Airport, Jefferson and SMCC have never beaten Bedford right?
Power rankings are a mix of things. It's not just who would beat who. If that were the case how could a team like Flat Rock with a low enrolment ever be at the top? You have take into account who is playing better. Who has the most big wins. Things like that.
Actually, commonscenseprep.com has Bedford winning a head to head on a neutral field by 4 TD's.
Actually calpreps.com based on their scientific model picks Bedford by 3 on neutral field.
No way Huron is better than Bedford. Bedford would win a head to head by 4 TD's.
Not sure that your comment will get the Huron folks worked up at all. Just like the previous comment that tried to divide the team into Ohio/coach's kids and local kids. Your scenario is possible. Obviously, although 4-0, there is a lot of work to be done. All you can do is play hard. For a first year coach with a completely new/different offense and defense, it has been a good start. Keep it up Chiefs!
I'm not trolling or stirring the pot, but I see Huron losing their next 4 games. I see an upset this week from SMCC, and then losses from Flat Rock, Riverview, and Milan. That leaves their last game against Thurston to make the playoffs. I'm sure this comment will get the Huron fans worked up.
