Gary Hauf Bio

Gary is a 1989 graduate of Monroe St. Mary Catholic Central High School, where he was two sport letter winner in football and track for the Falcons.

He is recently retired from the U.S. Navy where he spent the better part of 20 plus years in Virginia and Japan. Gary is also the co-founder of a youth basketball organization – Follow Through Hoops – in Monroe.

Gary started his coaching career in basketball and football in 1989.  He coached for SMCC, Monroe St. John and many AAU teams.

In 2016, Gary joined the Huron League Blog.  He helped convert it into Friday Night Victors in order to include more teams and bolster area football programs and coverage.

Gary resides in Monroe with his wife and children.
