Be sure to check out the podcast. Milan @ Huron
Milan (4-0) defeated Jefferson last week in a thrilling game 35-31 while Huron (3-1) beat SMCC down in Monroe 7-6. The Big Reds won last year’s game 47-21 and lead the all-time series 20-2.
Milan continues to do what they do on offensive. They spread the field with great skill people, look at match ups then use their speed to exploit the other team. The defense has been good enough this season to help secure an undefeated season so far.
Huron played very well defensively last week against SMCC. The offense struggled a bit and was dealt a solid blow when junior QB Brett McKay went out with a knee injury. The Chief offense will be led this week by junior RB Reed Smith and senior RB Drew Leininger. The Chief defense will need to focus on tackling in space against the Milan speed.
This should be another good game and a Milan victory could set up the anticipated match up of undefeated teams next week when the Big Reds host Grosse Ile. Look for the Chiefs to pound the ball on the ground this week in hopes of keeping the Big Red high scoring offense off of the field. Check out the podcast for my prediction. Click Here

Huron has absolutely the worst visiting sideline in the league! Have senior citizens walking this far, trash everywhere, and bleachers are rickety. I would be embarrassed to work in the Huron athletic department.
SMCC, who is in a tough league for a D6 team and who also plays 2 state powers non league, is in real danger of not making the playoffs. Although being ranked high in D6.
I live out in the country. You know what we do to rabbits. LOL. Sure as hell not trying to catch them. I do get the idea. LOL.
As for tractor tire. It didn't roll to far in last game.
Jealousy doesnt look good on you...
The rabbits were too fast and elusive tonight and the tractor tire had about 15 pancake blocks.
Here are the rankings per Division as I see them.
DIV
1.River Rouge
2.Grand Rapids CC
3.Hundsonville Unity
4.Country Day
5.Marysville
6.Corunna
7.Benton Harbor
8.Hamilton
9.Grosse Ile
10.Whitehall
DVI
1. Ithaca
2. TCSF
3. Montague
4. Millington
5. Nauganee
6. Schoolcraft
7. Clare
8. SMCC
9. Lumen Christi
10. Maple City Glen Lake
Side Note. Ithaca and Montague cold end up in DV and SMCC could end up in DVII
Milan would fall somewhere around 15 for me in DIV and Huron in DIII about 25th.
Let's revisit this list at the end of the season. No trophies given after week 4!
The rabbit analogy is a perfect way to describe Milan. Well done!
I would agree that Milan has a volatile offense. I still think there defense has some issues. They have trouble stopping the run. I watched them closely at Jefferson and they were not able to stop the run. Was not at game, but also heard they could not stop Riverview's run game. They did win both games though. Rushing defense is their weak spot.
Should be a great game.

Best comment of the year about the rabbits and the tracker tire
This could be the wake up call for Milan. Huron will be Milan's first real test.
Milan 20 Huron 17.

Adrian most likely finishes 4-5
