• Huron spanked Airport?? What game were you watching? It was a tight game until midway through the 4th.

• Its JV everybody. Its not apples to apples anywhere. Each school handles that level differently. Too tough to compare at this level. Many schools have a lot of freshmen on JV. Some have small teams. Its fun to watch, but I would not be making any proclamations at this level.

  Hurons JV has a lot of sophomores on JV and they spanked Airport. So when those kids are seniors and Airports freshman are Juniors, Huron could quite possibly spank them again. Who really knows. Just making a point.

• So does SMCC have about 15 Sophmores on Varsity? Where are all of the Sophmores?

• SMCC has 5 sophomores on the JV team. Of those, 4 start on offense and 2 start on defense. Our team has 19 kids total. No wonder we get beat by teams like Huron or Riverview with an all sophomore team with over 40 kids.

• It's JV football yes Riverview jv got beat..by flat rock..it's about learning the system and getting to the speed of high school football. .obviously Riverview is doing something right just look at the last 3 out 4 years made it to play offs ..just look at the beating they gave Flat Rock varsity last night 44-12 and they only got 12 because of subs going in on defense. .

• The JV coaches at Flat Rock do a dang good job for the talent they get. They don't get many kids who have played youth football anymore. They are always trying to play catch up. I believe this have been a dang good year for them.

  • Huron JV almost all sophomores!!! Airports JV starts 8 freshman on O!!!

• Airport has 6 Sophmores on Varsity and they're steam rolling everyone on JV. They're playing mostly Freshmen. If the 6 Sophmores on Airport Varsity stayed down on JV just imagine how different that would be??

• If you win at the JV level as convincingly as some of these teams are, it should translate to success at the varsity level! Winning can become contagious.
