Flat Rock (2-6) is coming off of a 42-20 loss to rival Huron while Hazel Park (1-7) lost at Ferndale 38-28. The is the first game ever between these two high schools.
Both teams entered the season with long losing streaks. The Rams had lost 18 straight before defeating Summit Academy in the opener while Hazel Park had lost 24 straight. The Vikings lone win this season was over 0-8 Pontiac.
Flat Rock has shown improvement this season and is led at QB Justin Roberts. Sophomore RB Saige Daniels has shown flashes The defense is led by sophomore Mason Hamilton and junior Noah Zarbaugh.
Hazel Park has improved this season under 1st year head coach Kyle Rowley. The Vikings have shown an ability to score. Players to watch out for our QB Damien Ewald, RB Jalen Adams and LB Jared Schultz
