Grosse Ile (4-2) is coming off of a 34-14 victory over Airport While Jefferson (1-5) fell to Huron 38-14. The Red Devils won last years game 20-12 and have won three in a row in the yearly series.
Grosse Ile came to life last week and throttled a solid Airport team. The offense seems to be clicking both through the air and on the ground. The defense seems to be playing better, but depth continues to be a problem.
Jefferson is still throwing the ball around everywhere, but looked like they were able run the ball at times last week. The defense has been giving up too many points and needs to find a way to stop somebody.
Jefferson looks like they’re improving, but Grosse Ile is looking like a team that nobody is going to want to play. Prediction: Grosse Ile 34 Jefferson 14

Good luck Grosse Ile, you're gonna need it.
The question is will JEFFERSON beat detroit university prep recess & leisure?
Jefferson has lost 21 of 24.
Jefferson has improved since first game. O-line is doing well.
Paddy, Friar, Dalfonso getting it done.
If D line can read some plays and get more early tackles instead of relying on the safety, it could be a very close game.
Jefferson has improved there weaknesses each week, this week was the D-line. I am confident message is clear.
Bears 28- GI 24
JB
Bears have improved, even though they did lose to Huron. Since our first game we have made strides. Most of you have not seen all our games, so you have no idea.
The ones that have are with me.
The Bears do handle the pass rush very well and have improved their ground game. I hear GI has improved very much as well. With that being said, I think it will be very close and being homecoming at Jefferson, maybe that will be the decider. Either way, it should be a good and exciting night.
Bears 30, GI 28
GO BEARS!!
Some GI fans seem to be dismissing the Bears, the team is not.
Honestly, Jefferson could end up losing this one by 60+. A score somewhere in the 70-0 range would not surprise me. Jefferson is overmatched across the board... again.
Jefferson gets romped as ususal
I think that this will be the biggest game that Jefferson will have for the rest of the season. So believe me when I say that the bears will give it their all! GO BEARS!
I would be cautious GI. Throwing the ball against a secondary that can stay tight on your receivers and int. at will might be detrimental . If Paddy and his D line come to play Friday night - watch out.
