• Amen, not many leaving their names when they post. As a coach and AD, one of the biggest problems I run into is lil Johnny getting an earful from dad at home. I know you love your kid, but every parent should support the child while supporting the coach and team. Nothing hurts a team more than Dad speaking negatively about a coach and/or other players.

• Donate some of your time Armchair quarterbacks. How many downs of football have you played? How many hours have you put in? Coaching is a selfless job, especially when good coaches are not even getting paid, You TALKERS amuse me. You have ALL the answers. I believe every coach in the Huron League busts their tails to get better, WHO coaches to lose?? Ignorant fan bases, learn the intricacies of the game before you start making accusations or attacking coaches. Most fans/parents don't have a clue. If your kid is soft you need to look in the mirror, Quit blaming coaches. How many of you fans/parents are playing catch with your kid or giving up your free time to help a program or organization. Hey or how about you go to practice every day and watch, then you may have a better understanding of what is going on. But I'm sure your time is to valuable to go and sit and watch your son practice everyday!! I look my kid in the eye every day and let him know what I think of his performance on the field or lack there of. Quit lying to yourselves, you rather talk than do anything else. You know what they say about opinions, and ***holes, everyone has one. Thanks for making our society weak by coddling your kids and making excuses for them. Losing is unacceptable and I don't know any coaches that enjoy it. Get a Grip!! I'm a parent and I am ashamed of some the attacks and comments you make towards these coaches in the Huron League. YOU are cowards, if you have a problem or question with a coach/staff be a Man or Woman and personally talk to the Head Coach instead of spitting your venom online!!!!

• I have no doubt the head coach has a ton of passion. He is as fired up as they come, but typically a head coach will oversee the rest. Coordinators, line coaches, running back coaches, receivers and d-back coaches, ETC. Any coach anywhere is only as good as the people he surrounds himself with. I think he needs to re-evaluate the people he has surrounded himself with. Make the decisions and drive the ideas home till theres no doubt. work on 1 play for an hour if you have too. Hang in there.

• Then head on out and fix it if it just that easy! Always easy to point a finger!

• It's unfortunate that coach thinks they lack passion. they were there all summer.coach says we have new offense it works then they change they can't stck to anything kids are confused .take blame coach your staff is not good .

• Jefferson situation very unfortunate. We know this group of Seniors are very talented, plus there are many talented juniors on the team. These kids have had success in other sports programs, whether it be school or summer programs. When it comes to football we expect that same success. They have as much talent as the kids in the other schools. We have to put the best kids in the best spots, regardless of who their parents are.

  The constant changing of the offense, kids not knowing their actual job on the team is just a few issues they have. The fundraising is great, passing league is great, but as a prior commenter said, everybody does that. If you want to be over and above the rest, you have to go over and above.

  Too be a great coach you have to have tremendous passion for the sport or you shouldn't be coaching. Its not just about the overtime.

• revamped league play predicted order of finish:

  1. SMCC (7-0) Seem to be the strongest team so far. Its a test every week from here on out however.

  2. RIVERVIEW(6-1) passed every test thus far. Gets Huron @home

  3. HURON (5-2) Epic game against view last year. This year will be the same.

  4. MILAN (4-3) Has GI and Airport @home. I like their chances. Will 5 wins get them in the playoffs?

  5. AIRPORT (3-4) Will play everyone tough but will just miss out of the playoffs.

  6. GROSSE ILE (2-5) Favorable schedule with View and Airport @home but I just don't think they are right.

  7. JEFFERSON (1-6) Bears don't have the horses to compete with the rugged Huron League.

  8. FLAT ROCK (0-7) Getting better and has some talent. Its a relentless league however, especially if you are Flat Rock.

• Unfortunately the easiest place to coach is at an orphanage. I have never heard a parent say my kid isn't very good. It is always the coach fault when hey lose and its always the kids when they win. Somethings never change.

• "Riverview will not beat Grosse ile or SMCC, they aren't even better than Milan lol that's why Milan will finish ahead of them at the end of the year".

  You do know that penalties and turn overs are part of the game, right? If Milan was superior they would have came back the next day (yes, not just the 20 minute half time for adjustments) and made some plays to win. Milan was not the better team 2 days in a row. The last 2 years records do not win football games, scoring more points than the other team wins football games.
