Riverview (2-0) is off to an impressive start after beating defending league champ Milan 21-7 last week while Airport (2-0) dropped Jefferson 31-21. The Pirates won last seasons game 27-10, but the Jets have won seven out of the last ten.
Airport has used a solid defense and a hard nosed running game in route to victories in the first two games. The Jets have a big offensive line that has opened holes for their three RB’s and the defense has been physical.
Riverview has adapted well to a new coach. Eric Gant and Tyler Chase have helped the Pirates establish a good running game. The defense led by Steve Pinkava has been opportunistic and good enough the first two weeks.
Another good early season match up here. This is a game I saw Airport winning early in the season, but now I’m not so sure. Guess I will flip a coin. Prediction: Airport 21 Riverview 20

Wrong again about riverview
You were right. Airport almost scored 21
Chad bass learnd from redman and he was a great, smart highshcool player i think hes gona end up a great coach as well
OK but so we are clear, Redmond didn't run the wing-T, he ran a double wing set with a deep back behind the QB. That was his base set.

Airports offense is still the Wing-T and has some variations in formations as has been the case for the past 16 seasons. The coaches have changed a few times but the offense is the same with new wrinkles.
Tendencies change with personnel and coaching staff.
The staples: Fullback behind QB, Diveback back a few yards off to the left/right of the FB and a Wingback opposite the dive just off the line.

Riverviews defensive studs can make a big difference here in this game, but I like the already battle tested Jets in a slugfest.
22-19
Who works harder in practice this week has nothing to do with who will win.
I believe its on the coaches to game plan correctly and make adjustments in game.
This is where the good coaches separate themselves from the ok coaches.
Both teams will work hard.

Riverview looks solid. So does airport. I think it will come down to who worked harder this week at practice. Neither team has a shot at the league though
Cisco invented the wing T

The riverview d line anchored by Gardocki and Borgert will not get pushed around. If airport decides to run up the middle it's going to be a long for them. Riverview 34 airport 14
If Airport decides to run up the middle Meiring will have a field day.
Yeah Airport's still running Redmond's offense. EM
Did Redmond invent the wing T?
