Flat Rock is coming off of an 0-9 season which saw the Rams give up a school record 465 points. Coach Tom Oestrike enters his 3rd season at the helm and is hoping for a better outcome this season.
The Rams will most likely start five seniors on the offensive line this season led by tackles Eric Antolak and Mack Quick. The offensive will most likely center around sophomore RB Dontel Hampton although junior QB Justin Roberts will have two capable receivers in senior Conner Harris and junior Jalen Smith.
If the Rams are going to right the ship, the defense is going to have to get better. Senior Nick Stedman will anchor the defensive line along with fellow senior Tracy Akers. Sophomore Noah Zarbaugh will lead the linebacking corp that includes Cleveland transfer Alan Talley.
While the Rams will be much better both offensively and defensively this season the results may not be much better. Flat Rock opens the season at home on Thursday against Riverview Gabriel Richard then dives right into the tough and physical Huron League. Prediction 1-8

People get on Milan and SMCC for recruiting, but Flat Rock went out and got a kid from Cleveland!?! This recruiting is out of control! (Joke)
Good luck to Tommy and the Rams! Wish I could come watch a game.
