• Parts of Huron, Flat Rock and Gibraltar School Districts are in Monroe County. In Huron's case is includes only about 15-20 homes. FR's is significantly bigger than that. No clue on Gibraltar.

• Is New Boston in Wayne county? If so, why do they participate in the Monroe county all-star game?

• Thanks Chris. That was what I was looking for. If he wants to coach in college, Chelsea is certainly a closer stepping stone than Milan. The newspaper said he had an opportunity he couldn't pass up but I wasn't sure if it was a coaching opportunity or a teaching opportunity or if it is closer to where he lives, etc. It was just kind of vague. Journalism isn't what it used to be. I wish him luck.

• No way! Josh is a stand up guy that just seems to be motivated by a challenge. Chelsea use to have a very very good program and has a wonderful school district. I personally think he would just like the challenge of the SEC on a regular basis. I also think he would like to end up in the college coaching ranks.

• I know this is a football blog, but does anyone know if there is more to the story of Tropea leaving Milan than what is in the Monroe News article?

• Many of the state of Michigan's best recruits didn't even play. It was mostly mid-major guys and below although Wrangler fro DeLaSalle who is head to Michigan was the defensive MVP of the game.
