Jefferson (1-7) is coming off a loss to cross town rival SMCC 48-34 while undefeated Bedford defeated Monroe High 34-17. The Kicking Mules defeated the Bears last season 55-17 and are 3-1 since the series started back in 2009.
While Jefferson has improved as the season has progressed the Bears are giving up nearly 40 ppg. Bedford appears poised for a possible playoff run with a high powered offense and solid defense.
