Airport (3-5) is coming off of a 29-19 loss to Huron League Champion Milan while Tecumseh (6-2) defeated Adrian 19-0. The Jets have won two in a row in this series including last season’s 11-10 game.
Airport’s offense is going to have to score some points this week and the defense will need to stop someone when needed. Tecumseh has won four games in a row and three have come by way of shut out.
This is a perfect match up between old Huron League foes. Tecumseh is prepping for the playoffs and has one of the best coaches in the state in Al Romano. Airport missed the playoffs for the first time in 15 years but will be ready to play. Pick: Tecumseh 27 Airport 6

Lets live in the past for a minute...Last years win over Tecumseh was a thriller. Potcova to McCormick for 6 in the corner of the endzone. Then Potcova ran in the 2pt conversion for the win with time running out. Cold and rainy night too. That momentum carried them to a 14-7 loss and almost upset of Milan the next week. You can do it again tonight boys!!
If Airport only wins 2 or 3 games next year, Baas could be in trouble. EM
Based on returning lettermen and JV records I would say 6-3 is the best that Airport would do next season. Losses come to Riverview, SMCC and Huron. Milan, Grosse Ile, Adrian and Tecumseh are all losable as well. Best guess right now for Airport would be anywhere from 2-7 to 5-4 before anything gets started. Obviously just my humble opinion.
3-6
Next year 6-3 at worst.
