Riverview @ Huron Recap

I usually don’t do this but here is a link to the article and what looks like the whole Riverview @ Huron game from last night. Greatest high school game I have ever seen, as far as, scores, big plays and excitement. Every score was basically a lead change. If you want the readers gigest version just watch the last 6 minutes of the game.

  • That was the best game we have ever seen. The most weirdest one too! The ref's though, they really seemed to favor Huron, as they tried everything so that Huron could win. No matter what stupid call they came up with, Riverview still won. Awesome game between two great teams! To answer what Smith ran for: 268 rushing yards, 3 touch downs and one 85 yard kick return.

  • 10:42; I'd watch that video again sir.. Both defenses held their ends up til the final whistle of that game... You cant expect a defense to stop everything, specially with an offense that wants to win. Last nights game showed why the Huron League is the toughest pound for pound league around.. No matter how much time is left in a game, you're never far from victory.

  • Toughest pound for pound??? You can't be toughest pound for pound league if you can't play defense. Offensively fun to watch, but from a football perspective...weak sauce.

    • So what is the cutoff for tough / not tough? 21? 14? Obviously you've never heard of the little part of the game they call blocking. Ya know, the hits and stuff that creates holes so guys can score. Ask #20 from Huron if getting pancaked in the 4th quarter and kept playing tough was "weak sauce" as you so eloquently stated. Do us all a favor and stick to the Mega Pink soccer games you grew up with.
