That is correct with the exception of SMCC only playing 6 class B's and 1 class A compared to last year where they played 5 class B's and two class A's. Everyone else washes out the same as last season.
Right so in the league this year there are the same amount of points to go around as last year based on class.
Classification really does mean something. This year if you beat SMCC you get more points because they are class B. You will get less points for beating Milan this year because they dropped. You get 80 points for a Class A win, 64 for a class B win, 48 for a class C win and 32 for a class D win. Obviously you get bonus points as well for beating teams who have wins. It is usually 8 bonus points for each win your opponent has if you beat them.
Class has nothing to do with how long you will last in the playoffs in football. 256 teams will qualify for the playoffs and those will be divided into 8 divisions. class only has to do with playoff points(which may either help you get in the playoffs or help secure home games... nothing more)
It's about 70/30 that SMCC will be in D5 this year. Whatever the case D6 will be loaded with the additions of lumen and GRWC. If CC stays down, wow what a division.
West Catholic will be D6 this year.
Division 5
Grand Rapids West Catholic
Flint Powers
Portland
Ann Arbor Gabriel Richard.
No way, not gonna happen.
SMCC season will end sooner
Milans season will last longer
Riverview is screwed
good teams win championships
Somebody please tell Riverview that defense wins Championships.
