Riverview/Detroit Consortium

Riverview (2-6) fell to cross river rival Grosse Ile last week 40-13. Consortium (6-2) beat Willow Run 49-3. This is the first time these two teams have met on the gridiron.

Tough to tell who will win this game based on the competition. One of my former students Marcus Hearn is a monster (6’6″ 325lb) on the Cougar offensive line. Pick: Consortium 26 Riverview 21

  • riverview didnt score vs grosse ile or any other good defenses. great, you scored alot on jefferson...they have one win.

  • This will be a higher scoring affair than that. Consort's athleticism will chew up Riverviews pourous D. Riverview has been able to score and I expect that to not change. Unless coach S decides to start preparing for next year. But I can't see him doing that to his Seniors unless the game gets too lopsided.

Also looking at Consorts schedule, I don't think they win more than 2-3 games all season with a Huron league schedule. So the game should be close just high scoring ala Jeff v. View. View 51 Consort 45
