Both teams are coming off close losses and each limps into this game with a 1-3 record. Huron fell short on a comeback 28-27 when a 2-point conversion failed with 42 seconds to go. Jefferson fell to Flat Rock for the second consecutive year 28-20. Jefferson won last year’s meeting in Monroe 35-7.
Jefferson continues to struggle on the defensive side of the ball and are giving up a whopping 39 ppg. Offensively the ground game continues to click.
Huron has struggled defensively as well but has been able to move the ball on the ground effectively and somewhat through the air.
This is pretty much a pick’em game. The Bears rolled the Chiefs at home last year while Huron did basically the same two years ago. Tough call, anyone can win the game in the Huron League this year. Pick: Huron 28 Jefferson 27

Not sure what team is going to show up for Jefferson. Its going to be close no matter what. When a team thinks they can win, they play that much harder. Huron thinks they can win. I'm not sure what the bears think any more.
Huron in this one.
Both have nothing to lose so home field otta be worth something.
Both Ds have been shredded...hurons a little less.

Go ahead and bet against us. We love it. Go Big Reds!!! Will you be attending?
I've seen both SMCC and Milan play, actually I have seen the Big Reds play twice. I have an opinion but I will save it for my pick which will come tomorrow.
I have not seen Huron play yet, but Jefferson does have some descent talent and if they show up and play hard this week, Jefferson will win. They are capable, need to have even just a little bit of creative play calling out of Cisco. If they are able to do this, they will be able to win.
Jefferson wins 42-34.
Huron made some nice passes against SMCC early in that game, which should put them up on Jefferson.
Having seen both these teams already I believe that Huron moves the ball better, Jefferson only runs the ball, Huron does both they run the ball well and they can pass, that being said I think Huron wins 35 – 21.
Both teams I believe will score. But I believe Huron has the better D and better passing game. Huron 45 Jefferson 30.
