The Rams (0-3) nearly pulled off the unthinkable last week in their 14-7 loss to Airport. The Bears (1-2) made a statement last week by beating Riverview 51-41 for their first victory of the season. Flat Rock won last season’s game 21-19.
Flat Rock was able to play a full game defensively last week but the offense continues to slow the Rams down. The Rams are hoping to get a win this week after facing three teams that are a combined 9-0.
Somebody awoke the Bears from their hibernation last week as Jefferson got the ground game going for record setting performance. Defensively the Bears still have some work to do but this could be a good week to get better.
Tough call here. Flat Rock has a better defense than Jefferson while the Bears have the better offense. This game should be just like last season. I continue to be amazed at the preparation Tom Oestrike puts in at my Alma Mater. I’ll go with the same score as last season. Pick: Flat Rock 21 Jefferson 19

Do you have a Huron League archives book or something? How do you know everything?
I played in it-thats why I had to throw it out there. Lol!
Jefferson won that game 63-20.
I think it was an individual rushing record that was set last week.
It was the record was ounce held by Jody Dunn with 355 rushing. The cool thing is Elijah and Jody both did this against reverview. New single game rushing record is 366.
Single game team rushing record is 613 yards against Flat Rock in 1996.
Flat Rock shut down Airports running game and will do the same to Jefferson.
Elijah has another 200+ game this week!!! Fr is on the rise but still going to take another five years to be a good team they r growing fast but not ready for the ground and pound.
Riverview was faster than Airport too. So what's the point of saying Jefferson is faster than Airport?
I love how all of a sudden Jeffersons offense is unstoppable to everyone, yet last week Cisco couldn't coach that offense out of a hole. Jefferson is better than flat rock, but by no means do they have superb speed. I say Jefferson 20 flat rock 13.

This game is going to tell us a lot about both teams. Remember Jefferson is faster than Airport. FR hasn't seen speed like this yet. I like FR keeping it close. Whoever has the ball last comes out on top.
The great thing about these schools is no matter what the score if they're up or down they never quit!! I have always respected FR and Jefferson for that.
