• well, if you guys didnt know, aceves, the qb for milan had 298 passing yards against rverview, that has to mean something.

• Has anyone kept stats on starting field position after Airport kicks off? Is there placekicker a senior? And who is he?

• Airport without Schumake......not as good. GI without Kish......not as good. Riverview has three RB's that are equally fast and good but won't get them OPOY. Jefferson without Grancitelli or Bosonac may not win a game. So how will they decide most valuable to team or best stats? Who knows.......probably Schumake.

  DPOY? stats or valuable to team....age old question.

  Lions good team but face GB twice and just lost to one of the top NFC teams at present. Glad they're winning though.

  Best rivalry: SMCC/Jefferson throw all records out anyone can win that game. They know each other well and play to each others strengths.That will change if Cisco retires.

  SMCC playoff run is done, would have made it at 5-4. But did not deserve to be in. Nor to any other 5-4 teams. System needs to change.

  Biggest disappointments: Milan, lots of talent not being used well.

  Why don't more county schools play each other, that would eliminate the need to play teams far away or even out of state. Makes no sense!

  Huron league schools will not get past districts this year. Teams are not very physical and competition in the league was weak.

  In fact Monroe county schools in all will not get past districts. Would love to see someone make a run, but don't think it will happen. Hopefully if someone does all schools are behind them instead of hoping they'll lose.

• I would like to congratulate the Jefferson Bears on an outstanding win tonight. Way to officially knock SMCC out of the playoffs. Even though you didn't have a good season, I am still proud of you guys.

• SITOFN is just pissed that "AIR" took the Huron League Championship. So now he's desperate for attention and trying to get his pony boy Kish as OPOY. Wont happen island boy. Try stuffing kleenex in your mouth to stop all the hot "AIR" escaping.

• EM.... Agreed that I or anyone associated with GI football would take a league title over accolades anyday. (Air kudo's...just don't slip up with Milan)

  For the record; we're not D3 (so comparo's are silly) and the biggest game is tonite!!! I know AIR thinks they are, but not yet.

• EM - We know Airport had the OPY last year. He deserved it. BTW... Where is he playing football at now?....

  This year you have Shumake..... Sorry he doesn't quite have that next level of play that the OPY should have to even be considered to play at the next level.....

• Ecorse would crush CC this year. They continue to get more athletic and bigger. Kyle Dinkins only continues to improve. He is a pretty good quarterback.

  In Mansfield Dinkins we trust.

• Knock is hard to bring down, maybe because the fact that hes the strongest kid in the school

• Not taking sides but SITOFN telling EM about his Airport prejudice is like the pot calling the kettle black. No bigger homer on this blog than SITOFN. Plus EM said White could win it, how is that being prejudice?
