  • Ok - I have read the comparison of Teen and Kish for the past few years. Perhaps the thing that we should all be asking is while I think that Teen and Kish are equally talented players in their own style: was the teams that Teen played on that bad that it made him look that good or is the team that Kish that much better that he does not have to carry the burdon as Teen did???? If that's the case then my vote is DEFINITELY for Mr Kish - size and speed package plus if you saw the NH video from last week's game he doesn't have a "Me" thought in his entire body - he plays 100% for the team.

  • kids been out of the league for two years, but anyways...

They are two different payers. Mr. Kish has a lot more talent around him and isnt counted on to be Mr. everything. We have to remember Teen was on very porous teams and White was just a youngster learning the offense when they played together. Kish is a strong straight-line runner, which he needs to be since other defenses are trying to defend the potent passing attack of GI. After watching and coaching against Teen for a few years, theres no way you can't love the player he was. All league player on teams that didn't win a game? He made plays happen when there was little or no blocking. Never seen the kid leave the field. Game plan against GI every week was, stop teen, beat the devils...But Kish is a fast, very built kid who can run like a gazelle. Will get better. (only second year on the varsity level I believe?)

Total toss up, has nothing to do with the season, but whoever started this little debate, kudos to you.

I'd have to take Teen. He is a very versatile player, with a ton of heart. He's an X-factor and very durable. One of the most admireable athlete to coach against

  • September 12th - 10:10pm.....News flash - Kish didn't play for most of the second half - Bodner pulled his starters and the Studs from Flat Rock couldn't even compete with GI's back ups.

  • After seeing Kish play last Fri. I wouldn't say he doesn't go 100% or have the killer instinct. I just looked at his stats and he doesn't get as many touches as Dex. Dex got mid 20 touches a game. Kish gets around 12 touches. Kish is avg 145 yds a game this year. I would take that all day long on my team.

BTW- starters were pulled almost all the second half of the flat rock game.....

  • yeah saying kish is better than teen is compeletely undermining the fact that kish has a way bigger faster stronger line. i played my senior year with teen and half of the line right now was on that team... teen has already proven he is a superstar - future player #swag

  • Kish and Teen comparo's are speculation at best....my $.02;

Kish is a more straight line runner that has that "elusive" ability to shed tacklers at impact.
Teen was a slasher and quicker latterally (his elusiveness)...but would also deliver a blow too.

They both obviously have break-away speed.

    One better than the other....nahhh
But Teen was relied on more back in the oh-4 years vs Kish now. Mr. White's maturity and running/passing ability has something to do with it too.

One thing is for sure...they are both fantastic young men. Not cocky or arrogant, just love to play and are sportsmen in the truest sense.

Note: they both played D too.

    What do you think Chris?

  • I don't think you can make any defensive player a star when they play Flat Rock. After all, EVERYONE knows what play is coming BEFORE the ball is snapped...

  • How can you honestly say Kish is better the Dex was I dont believe Kish had even a 100 yards on Flat Rock? When Dex played against teams that weren't to great he still went 100% and didn't take games off like that he had more of a killer instinct.

  • Frysinger would carry the ball 30-40 times a game. He was 6' 4" and about 220 pounds. Big strong and fast! Then went to MICHIGAN and put on another 60 pounds and played defensive end!
