SITOFN,
I don't know about CC being 1st. I had the chance to talk with a CC parent a few weeeks ago, we talked about the league and the direction we think it might be going. CC graduated ALOT of its talent last year, although its had backup talent coming from JV, I'm still anxious to watch this first game friday with Huron and CC. As long as Kalby does his homework and works the Defense to CC's offense, i think it will be a close game. Huron has a pretty solid backfield on Defense, hopefully they do work friday night.
BTW; Has anyone heard anything about how Old Man Kalby is doing with his new team? Heard the MTV show is giving them kids hype, but nothing to show once on the field?
KC
The waggle had like a 1 for 6 success rate. It develops too slow. It was designed for a highschool qb with a highschool arm. He actually looks better as a 3 or 5 step drop passer.
bedfords offensive line cleary worked harder in the weight room during the offseason. Hopefully friday was a wake up call to the players.
Airport needs to learn how to finish drives. Unacceptable to just keep stalling like that. The waggle can be an effective play, any football play is an effective play if you execute it well.
Attention Air coaching staff - put the Waggle in a lock box - bury it 6 feet down in that corn field to the south of the football field. Let Red run it in Monroe. The rest of the league has your playbook that hasn't changed.
RE:"I have felt all along BN that riverview would be solid this year. I have said so numerous times throughout the offseason so I am by no means a bandwagon jumper. Crestwood isnt much of a test but 34-0 at the half is a pretty good beatdown."
Not too many folks think the view will do much this year(other than the parents of course), including Chris. I see a 6-3 record at worse with 6 home games. Tough test this week at Airport. We will know then what we have in both of those teams

Airport was overmatched but why am I still seeing the same mistakes from last year. Teach you DE's corners to contain the play. Bedford just kept goin back to the well. The 99 yrd. run was the weakest thing I ever saw from a defense. Barber was outcoached again if he is actually in charge?
Play action pass 4th and 1 and your QB is 200+. If your going to waste that talent then copy GI and just let em run.

KC...I think you got it. Air has alot to get through in the HL and I still say a down year. CC, a different story and I still stand by my 1st place prediction.
Don't forget about GI though.... seems as though Bloggers are having short term memory loss about Onsted. GI would be fortunate to beat them last I checked from the pundits.
Question: What would people have said if Air or CC would have played them???
I think they both would have done well after the fact, but what would have people said PRIOR??
Perhaps GI is to be rekoned with after all.

Ooooops meant riverview not airport.
