Mike Pannone has been tabbed by the blog readers as the Pre-season Defensive Player of the Year. He edged out Riverview’s Brad Bossman in what became a two horse race.
Pannone will once again lead the Falcon defense as they look to defend their Huron League title and get back to Ford Field. Bosman will have something to say about that as the Pirates look to return back to the top of the Huron League standings for the first time since 2004.
Circle September 10th on your schedule, that is when SMCC and Riverview will meet. The Falcons won last year’s contest 17-10.
