Riverview 14 Crestwood 6
The Bucs were led by running back Ali Saad. Javier Yabarra scored first for Riverview at 4:05 of the second quarter. Riverview led 7-0 at the half.
Ali Saad scored midway through the third to give the Pirates a 14-0 lead. Crestwood scored late in the fourth quarter to complete the scoring.
Quarterback Matt Gibbons hooked up with his tight end Brad Bosman numerous times to keep the Charger defense off balance.
Riverview will play at 1-0 Milan next Friday Night at 7 pm.
Ida 29 Flat Rock 28
Flat Rock lost an overtime battle to the visiting Ida Bluestreaks 29-28. Ida led at halftime 7-6. The Bluestreaks scored on a trick play with three seconds in the half to counter two field goals by Flat Rock’s Jeff Baker.
The Rams trailed 21-6 early in the fourth but stormed back to tie the game and force overtime.
Flat Rock scored first in OT and converted the kick. Ida scored their points in OT on a 4th and 10 pass for a touchdown. The Bluestreaks went for 2 and won the game on an off tackle play.
Sophomore Mike Blosser scored a touchdown and led the Rams with 86 yards on 16 carries. Sophomore quarterback Mike Chickeral ran for 67 yards and threw for 96 on 13 pass attempts. Sophomore Colin Knoch scored 2 touchdowns for the young Rams
Next week Flat Rock will visit Airport in a battle of 0-1 teams.

Blosser had to have more than 86, i think he had about 130 but lost a bunch. Id say an even 110
