I had some things going on in the city of Detroit today and happened to drive by Detroit Osborn. That is the venue for the SMCC/Crockett game tomorrow night.
The field looked in great shape and had been freshly lined. Plenty of room on both sides of the field with nice bleachers. The neighborhood wasn’t the most desirable place but not too bad. Seven Mile and Hoover is only a short run from the City of Warren.
Not sure how the Monroe County folk will get to the game tomorrow. It isn’t the easiest place to get to from south of the City.
I’m not knocking Navarre Field or maybe I am but the Osborn Field is much nicer. Heck I think their practice field seats more people.
Anyway, for those of you attending tomorrow night’s game, enjoy it. If it is half as fun to watch as last year’s game it will be worth the travel.
