SMCC was supposed to get blown out by a very very good Montague team. Quite frankly there are many that think Montague could have won a state title all the way up to D3.
SMCC represented the Huron League very well and showed the entire state the very quality of football that is played every Friday and now Saturday(Airport) in the Huron League.
