What do you write about on a Wednesday on Huron League football? Nothing, you write about the local college teams.

I thought I would give my 2 cents on Michigan, Michigan State and Notre Dame. As usual just my opinion.

Michigan: I think the Wolverines have a fine coach in Rich Rodriguez. He just needs some time to make this thing gel. He had some great teams at West Virginia with top 40 talent. Let’s see what he can do with top 10 talent. I see Michigan going 7-5 this season.

Michigan State: The Spartans look like they have their best team in quite some time. The schedule is relatively easy with OSU not on there. Dantonio is doing a good job and the Spartans should be headed to a New Year’s Day Bowl Game with a 10-2 record.

Notre Dame: Everyone seems pretty high on the Irish. I think they will benefit from a soft schedule. Clausen could be the most overrated QB in college football history (well maybe Ron Powlous was). Look for the Irish to go 9-3.

Some notable games are ND at Michigan. The Wolverines won’t roll over in this one. State @ ND should be interesting. The Spartans have owned the Irish lately but I see a possible slip up by the Spartans here. USC @ ND is a mismatch again. The Irish should consider dropping this game.
